Message I just went to the store to pick up some gatorade and some chips and the cops are crawling like infestations of secada bugs all over town. There were three at the front of my apartment complex with something going on. Whatever, I'm not doing anything wrong and decide I should probably keep it that way for the rest of my journey. The gas station I went to is within 1 mile of my f*cking house.

Coming back, I see two ASOs parked way away off the side of the road in a small field side by side, just waiting.

Im driving like a priest on sunday and as I pass the little church before my neighborhood on my way back, I see a cruiser turning around in the church's parking lot. He proceeds to pull out and follow me. I am doing EXACTLY 30MPH which is the posted limit.

As I turn my turn signal on and proceed to turn into my neighborhood, he follows me and turns on his lights. Goddamn mutherfucking bitch of a fucked up nightmare Z car ownership.

Over his intercom he tells me to step out of the vehicle. So of course I get out. He tells me to walk back to his car and stand in front. He then asks for my license and as I am handing it to him, he asks, "Are you Ash?". F**k me in the ass, he knows me on a 1st name basis? WTF?

He looks at my license and says, "I have a pearl white 300ZX". At that moment in time I recall who he is. A couple of years ago I was going into the courthouse to pay a ticket (go figure) and the courthouse has an xray machine. My keys are obvious Z car owner keys. Titanium key and the infamous "Z" keychain emblem. The officer monitoring the xray machine asks, are you Ash? (keep in mind this was about 2 years ago). Suprised, I respond, "Yes?" And he says the same thing he said tonight, "I have a pearl white 300" and the conversation was limited to a few other sentences I cant remember.

So, tonight he says, "You've been getting a lot of tickets lately, eh?" Suprised I tell him as a matter of fact I have. This makes the third pull over in a week and a couple days. I proceed to mention the ticket I have been harping about here and he interrupts me and tells me that officer so and so was giving me a break. F**k me in the a$$hole, GPD is talking with ASO about me? He then says, and you play your radio too loud too sometimes... F**k me hard without lubrication.

THEY ARE OUT TO GET ME! AHHHHHHHHHH!

So then I ask him what he is pulling me over for. He shines his light at my car and says, "The TV screens."

Ok, this is the fourth time I have been pulled over for them. I proceed to tell him that they are not TV screens, that they are computer screens for the computer I installed and I use it for GPS and a few other things. He then asks to see it. So we walk over to the car and I point out the GPS reciever, load up the software, load up the DAQ and load up winamp. Then like all the others that have pulled me over for this he asks, is that illegal? Gheeze. I reach into my center console and pull out the state statutes on the issue. Ive been carrying them with me since I first got pulled over for it. I show him that the law states it is illegal to have "TV type recieving equipment" and that screens are legal when "used in conjunction with vehicle navigation systems." I am not recieving TV signals and I have a GPS. He drops the issue and asks me about where I got the car, almost in a buddy buddy like tone. So I answer his questions and he tells me that the reason I keep getting pulled over is because the car "screams out". Not confusing it with the exhaust (which it does have a decent note). He says a few other things along the same note and then starts to tell me that he is planning to sell his 300 and "buy something more economical like a truck." Economical? Hondas are economical, trucks arent. I tell him, "Well, I have a truck too that I drive to work and such and use when I am working on the Z..

It didn't come to me until sitting here telling my wife about how we need to move out of town and blah blah blah that this officer knew me, pulled me over because he also knew about my screens and how they are probable cause to pull me over and then proceeds to deliver a lecture to me. The whole time it was a lecture. I recall when I told him I am contesting that violation of a traffic control device on grounds that I have outlined previously, he said "You will learn eventually..." or something just like that.

Guys, this is TOTAL BS. What kind of world do we live in and why am I just now finding this out like I have lived in some sheltered existence for 27 years? It was known to me before all this that officers talk to other officers and that's part of their lifestyle. But I feel like I am wearing a bullseye on my forehead.

I dont know what to think about this - I'm not selling my Z like he was seeming implying about him selling his and buying something economical just because these cops have a picture of my car on their dashboards (so it seems). Looks like I may have to take on an existence where I cant stay too long in one place and hope for the best. This sucks.

What do you think? Probably something along the lines of "you deserve it" will show up in threads, but really, DO I deserve this? I have a nice car, I take pride in it, it is legal and even when I drive within the bounds of the law I still get pulled over?

Advise please! I'm going nucking futs over here.
